I would like to take a moment and introduce our company to you. It all started the summer of 2009 when I was off working a night shift. As you might expect, being “not as young as I used to be” I find I want more light on these night shifts than I used to. So I went out and bought myself one of the “other guys” LED railroad work lanterns. And sure enough, they are better than the incandescent bulb units I had been using.
One night not long after I received my work lantern, the bulb failed. Right then and there I figured I could either complain about the state of railroad lanterns today, or I could do something about it. (Imagine that… A railroader complaining about something…. Hummmm)
Well, I decided to do something about the situation.
Not long after this fateful shift, I got together with an electronics engineering firm with headquarters in California. Over the next many months, the combined talents of the engineering firm, and the knowledge I have gained actually working in the field has produced quite simply the best railroad lantern on the market today.
Why should you settle for your father's railroad work lantern, when most every other electronic product has progressed dramatically over just the past 20 years?
Now I am not only working on the railroads, but I am also hopefully improving the level of safety out there on the ground. Life Is Good!
It is just amazing how much you can get accomplished with some smart and talented engineers, a handfull of patents, and a few good ideas thrown in for good luck.
